the opportunity to witness traditional crafts in action. Visitors can interact
with artisans, ask questions, and learn about the cultural significance of

Visual Gallery: The Visual Gallery will display a collection of photographs,
videos, and artifacts documenting the history of Tamil Nadu's textile industry.
This gallery will provide visitors with a visual narrative of the region's rich

Interactive Zone: The Interactive Zone will feature hands-on activities and
workshops where visitors can learn traditional textile techniques, such as
spinning, weaving, and dyeing. These interactive experiences will allow
visitors to immerse themselves in the world of textiles, gaining a deeper
understanding of the craftsmanship involved.
Introduction Gallery: The Introduction Gallery will serve as an orientation
space for visitors, providing an overview of Tamil Nadu's textile heritage. This
gallery will feature introductory exhibits that set the stage for the rest of the
center, giving visitors a context for their journey through the world of Tamil
Nadu textiles.
4.2 Implementation of Sustainable Practices
In line with global efforts towards sustainability, the Textile Experience Center
will prioritize the implementation of sustainable practices in its operations
and design. The center will adhere to green building standards and
incorporate environmentally friendly materials and technologies to minimize
its ecological footprint.
Energy Efficiency: The center will utilize energy-efficient lighting fixtures,
appliances, and HVAC systems to reduce energy consumption. LED lighting
will be installed throughout the facility, and natural daylighting strategies will
be employed to maximize the use of natural light and minimize reliance on
