Executive Summary

In keeping with the Madhya Pradesh Board of Tourism's vision for a comprehensive tourism
destination, the architectural thesis "Vineyard Vista Retreat" painstakingly investigates the
harmonious integration of a resort and winery on a sprawling farmstead.

With the addition of a resort and improvements to the current winery, the project aims to
seamlessly combine agritourism and opulent hospitality, offering guests a unique and engaging
experience. The architectural thesis centers on Titari in Ratlam district in Madhya Pradesh, where
an existing winery has established the groundwork for an innovative architectural investigation

and its transformative potential. Situated amidst the serene landscape, the winery catalyzes the
proposed development of a resort in the region. Combining viticulture and architectural design
presents a fascinating chance to build a setting that serves both the local population and tourists.

The thesis explores the opportunities and difficulties that come with a winery and the proposed
resort coexisting, taking into consideration things like landscape integration, cultural sensitivity,
and economic viability. In the context of an ongoing Request for Proposal (RFP) for the
development of the resort, the architectural exploration aims to propose innovative and
contextually relevant design solutions that contribute to the overall enhancement of the Titari
district as a destination for both wine enthusiasts and leisure seekers.
