7.PROPOSAL

7.1. An Architect's role
Role of an architect in this resort design is to understand the potential of the place and do
justice to the location of the site and make a place so that the value of the Palm Jebel Ali is
maintained and not overshadowed because of the structure
that has to be constructed in this place.

7.2.Goals
The main two goals of the design are first to devise space for learning, showcasing and
experimenting. The final goal is to design a beachfront resort with floating villas that gives a
greater lifestyle experience.

7.3.Parameters of Designing
To initiate the site and structure design, a few parameters were taken into consideration. Based
on factors that exist, rules and regulations put down by the government and ways of channeling
an experience of Canyon through
architecture, the parameters narrowed down and helped put in a clearer foundation to start the
design.
