7. Summary of the Project

Through the process of doing this project thesis, many aspects pertaining to how an eco-
village can be formed were understood in and the type of building that has to be implemented,
including the space to be implemented where understood as well. The main aim of developing
an eco-hub or sphere were studied in and various aspects pertaining to the aspects of how an
eco-village can lead to the development of a more eco sensitive and eco-friendly communities

were understood were understood and developed. Through this project it was also understood
how to develop in methods and tactics to develop in a self-sustaining eco-community,
especially near an urban region. The design process made it easy to understand what all factors
to be considered, i.e the site, the community to be inhabited, the micro and macro conditions,
etc. leading to this design being developed for the site, rather than against the site, it is
developed in. The process of understanding the site and developing the site according to
various conditions and other aspects makes this process of designing an eco-village an
extremely daunting task, but which if done correctly can lead to the development of an
extremely eco-sensitive area as a whole, which can act as plug ins for the urban regions,
leading to the better development of a Urban region.
