Project Description
Since the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown has been activated all over the world, people started using online social networks such as WhatsApp, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, MySpace, Google+, Sina Weibo, VKontakte, Mixi etc , more for their communication not only for entertainment purpose but also basic needs. Online social media play an important role to connect the people across the world, as they allow individuals to connect with friends and family, and share private information using application software such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Meet, Duo etc. Zoom app expanded from 10 M users in Dec’19 to 200 M in Mar’20 to 300 M in Apr’20. Multimedia data such as text, image, audio and video are distributed easily over the online social networks using latest technology. However distributed data over the online social media often affected by malicious users that cause copyright violation, authenticity, ownership identity and confidentiality issues. In this project, we have used digital watermarking techniques with owner’s biometrics to provide secure transfer of data in online social media.
