Project Description
This study mainly focuses on the link between workplace bullying, emotional exhaustion and presenteeism in women workers of Leather Industry. Based on affective events theory, this study will find that the emotional exhaustion and Psychological Well-being mediates the relationship between bullying and employee presenteeism. However, the climate for conflict management (CCM) will be moderating the aforementioned relationship. Data will be collected from 1000 women labours working in leather industry with the assumptions that workplace bullying and presenteeism are partially mediated by individual’s perceived emotional exhaustion and that the CCM moderates this mediated association. This mediated moderation model will suggests that workplace bullying emotionally exhausts women labours, who despite being present at workplace cannot perform to their full potential. On the other hand, organizations that are active in conflict management practices may be able to prevent and reduce the adverse effects of workplace bullying which leads to women labours’ performance and productivity. The researchers also are planning to use an Artificial Intelligent based live video feed of the CCTV camera to detect the facial expression of women labours, its correlation with performance and productivity of them .Virtual device modeling and extensive device simulations will be carried using Synopsys Sentaurus TCAD tools (sprocess and sdevice).
