Guest speakers of eminence are invited from all over the world, to
sufficiently impart knowledge to students and faculty.
Students are encouraged to obtain summer fellowships (Indian Academic
Sciences (INSA, NAS etc.,), undergo trainings, industrial projects,
Semester abroad programmes etc., from prestigious Institutes to broaden
their knowledge in research.
Faculty members are encouraged to attend training programs from time to
time to improve their teaching skills.

Major Strengths
Well qualified faculty and students
Effective teaching learning process – FFCS, Project based learning(PBL),
Research based learning(RBL), Semester wise assessment of feedbacks,
Board of studies, Academic council etc.,
Healthy research environment - funded projects, research fellowships,
good infrastructure, Increasing trend in the quality of publications etc.,
Output of excellent PhD students every year, high record of placements,
student research fellows etc.,
Excellent organizational set up of Students, Staff, Faculty, Programme
Chairs, Dean, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Vice-Chancellor, Vice Presidents and
Chancellor.
Weakness
Inadequate assistance from the government (UGC in particular)
Lesser input from the industry
Diversity in students performance
Opportunities
