students can have access to these at any time.
In case the student misses the continuous assessment tests, the
students can apply for rescaling of the marks.
However, if the student misses the term end examination a student is
allowed to appear for a re-Term End Examination.
These measures ensure flexibility and ample support to the students,
thus enhancing the student participation in sports and related
activities.

Does the university have an institutionalized mechanism for
students’ placement? What are the services provided to help students
identify job opportunities, prepare themselves for interview, and
develop entrepreneurship skills?
VIT University has been creating records in campus placement of the
students. It is proud that its graduates are highly rated by employers from
industry and commerce in the private and public sectors. Offering
information, advice, guidance and support for job-seeking students is
considered a primary responsibility at the University. The office of

Placement and Training
’(PAT) facilitates the students to identify job
opportunities and make necessary arrangements for the on-campus
placement of the students.
The PAT office, provides training to the students to that could further
enhance the soft skills of the students and also it conducts mock interviews
/ tests. The office has adequate space for training, conduct of interviews
and counseling.
